The Skills Development 2 program would be suitable for skaters who participated in last year's Skills Development program, or skaters with strong skating skills and preferably some basic speed skating training. Programs start on October 6, 2020 and run until March 11, 2021, with no ice sessions on November 26, and December 22, 24, 29 and 31, 2020 and January 7, 2021.

Masters 1 is for adult skaters with strong skating skills who would like to learn to speed skate. This program is on the ice with the Skills Development 2 program. Long track skates may be used for this program, but short track speed skates would be preferable.

Skaters must register separately with Speed Skating Canada / Speed Skate Nova Scotia through the IceReg system at this link before the first ice session. Select the Payment Plan Preregistration option.
